Cancelation policy: Wisteria Tea Room requires a credit card to hold reservations for parties of 6 and over as well as Saturday reservations. Wisteria Tea Rooms continued viability relies on reservations being honored by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies: A valid credit card number must be provided when making a reservation. We will charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 48 hours prior to your booking. We will charge a cancellation fee of $20 per person for any bookings changed or canceled within this 48-hour notice period. Thank you for your support of Wisteria Tea Room.
While there aren't any rules when it comes to the food, a standard afternoon tea comprises of the following three tiered trays: 3rd tier of desserts, 2nd tier of scones & cream 1st tier of sandwiches or savory items.
At Wisteria Tea Room we are an English-style tea room with a Southern flair. Meaning we keep traditional items while ensuring there is plenty of food and endless tea for all.

Fantastic! Everything you expect from a tea room! Wonderful experience. Food was good.An array of teas to choose from.
I've been several times to dine. It's unique and special. Worth a trip to experience their food and presentation. On top of wonderful food the atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful. Give it a try with your girlfriends. You won't want to leave.
There are many different stories that claim to explain the origin of afternoon tea but one of the most widely accepted is that the Duchess of Bedford came up with the initial concept. The noon meal had become smaller, and so the Duchess suffered from a sinking feeling at about four clock in the afternoon.
At first the Duchess had her servants sneak her a pot of tea and some buttered bread. After a short time indulging in this light meal alone, she decided to invite some friends to join her in her rooms at Belvoir Castle.
The menu centered around small cakes, sandwiches, assorted sweets, and of course tea. This proved so popular, the Duchess continued it when she returned to London, sending cards to her friends asking them to join her for tea and a walk in the fields. This practice of inviting friends to come for tea in the afternoon soon became widely enjoyed.
